The pump is designed to create suction — the reason why it’s also called a suction toy — which increases blood flow to the genitals. They are sometimes also used for the nipples.
The device normally consists of a cup or cylinder (available in different sizes), which is placed over the intended area, and a hand pump (a type of bulb) with a tube.
