Panviman is a Spa Academy located in the mountains of the Mae Rim District, about 35 km from Chiang Mai’s Old city. This Spa Academy is connected to the Panviman Resort, part of the Panviman Group of Resorts which has a branch on Koh Phangan island also.
Panviman is certified by the Ministry of Public Health and Ministry of Education, and has as its aim to provide quality education in the health and wellness industry, with theoretical and practical lessons being included in all training courses offered.
Their list of training courses is vast, from a basic Anatomy & Physiology course (50 hours), to a range of Western modalities such as Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stones Massage; Indian modalities like Shirodhara and Indian Head Massage, and the Thai Traditional Healing Arts modalities which are: Basic Traditional Thai Massage (30 hours); Herbal Compress (12 hours); Foot Massage (30 hours); and their exclusive Lanna Exotic Massage® (30 hours). Plus, Thai Yoga and meditation classes are offered for free before and after each course.
The Academy also offers in-depth Diploma courses where you take many of these individual courses together to receive a qualification diploma after completion, such as “Spa Therapist” (a 700 hour study), “Thai Holistic” (150 hours) or “Lanna Holistic” (120 hours), among other options.
