Sen Lawusang is one of the ten principal Thai Sib Sen Energy Lines as addressed in Thai Massage (Nuad Thai) and Thai Yoga (Reusi Dat Ton).
Lawusang is also called Lawusank, and includes a variety of synonyms such as Kuchung, Urang, Pusumpawang, Chanthapusang, Chandabhusang, Sampasaso, Jantapusank, and Junthapusunk.
The Lawusang Sen Energy Line is strongly associated with the ears and with the Wind Element.
Location and Trajectory
The Sen Lawusang main line starts about three thumbs distance above the navel, runs towards the left nipple, and from there along the neck and jaw to the left ear, goes around the ear to the back side of the ear to end just behind and below the ear.
The extension line of Sen Lawusang (in the image displayed with the color blue) starts at the tip of the left ear and goes to the top of the head.
Sen Lawusang’s counterpart is Sen Ulangka which takes the same course as Sen Lawusang, but then on the right side of the body.
Therapeutic Indications for Lawusang
The therapeutic indications include deafness, ear disease, tinnitus, throat and mouth problems, jaw problems, cough, facial paralysis, tooth ache, asthma, chest pains, breast issues, and gastrointestinal disorders.
