In 1978, she developed a training program for Infant Massage instructors. Later, in 1986, she founded the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), which has continued to grow, and today has representatives in over seventy countries worldwide, and tens of thousands of trained IAIM-style Infant Massage Instructors.

In a way the IAIM style of Baby Massage has become the de facto standard of general Western-style Infant and Baby Massage.

Nevertheless, the IAIM Infant Massage is based on Indian Ayurvedic Baby Massage, but mixed with Yoga and meditation practices, Swedish Massage (Classic Massage), Reflexology, and the contemporary insights of anatomy and physiology.
