The exercises don’t resemble Yoga, Dance, Tai Chi, Qigong, or any other Eastern or Western form of exercise, and can be rather simple and gentle to very complex and vigorous. The moving exercises take turn with periods of motionless meditation. A particular feature is the frequent instructions given with regard to specific details about eye movements.

Aro gTer sKu-mNye exercises can help to develop more strength, flexibility, coordination, and aerobic exertion. Other benefits include more vivid sensory experience, emotional openness, enhanced meditation, physical fitness, and lessening of anxiety, fears and depression.

Nevertheless, the main goal is to realize non-dual awareness i.e. truth or spiritual enlightenment. The physical exercises are basically only a tool used for this other state of awareness.
