What Is Merkaba Breathing?

A Merkaba (from the Egyptian Mer meaning “light,” Ka meaning “spirit” or “life force,” and Ba meaning “body”) is thought to consist of two intersecting Tetrahedra (plural of Tetrahedron) making a star-shaped field of energy surrounding the body that can be used to reach higher realms and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Every person is said to have a Merkaba around their body. By using specific Prana breathing techniques i.e. Merkaba Breathing, eye movements, and Mudras one can activate one’s own Merkaba, which then subsequently takes you to sacred spheres and can serve for personal growth and spiritual awakening.

Merkaba Breathing (also called Spherical Breathing) is actually a meditation technique and consists of eighteen specific breaths, each visualized as a different geometric shape, and typically accompanied by gesticulating specific Mudras.

Apart from being a means to spiritual awakening, the Merkaba is used to for deep meditation, to oust negative energies, to activate the Chakras and balance one’s internal energies, and to support healing processes.

If you’d like to know more about this esoteric breathing technique you can visit the Crystalinks or Galactic Federation Of Light webpages, which give additional details about the Merkaba.
