As for what happens or is experienced after a Yoni mapping session it’s best to differentiate between the more or less immediate impressions/experiences and the medium or long-term effects/experiences.

But first it’s good to realize that every Yoni mapping session is different because it’s tailored to the individual, unique woman who receives it, with her specific issues that she wants to see resolved, not to talk about the fact that every Yoni mapping therapist is likewise different with regard to the way they work.

Nonetheless, immediately after a session, you may feel in trance, tired, emotional, deeply connected, or liberated, or perhaps the opposite: extremely invigorated, bewildered, and excited, just to give some examples. As said, every woman is different and it all depends on what happened during the session and what progress has been made.

At any rate, try to make sure that you get the space and opportunity to calm down and/or ask questions before leaving the session location. In addition, it’s not uncommon that some kind of journaling (recording of thoughts, feelings, and experiences) will take place together with the therapist. This will make it easier to reflect on and digest the work that was done, while it also makes for an excellent guide for next sessions if those are planned.

In general, it’s advised to take it easy after any therapeutic massage or bodywork session, and this is likewise the case for Yoni Mapping, which may have the same effects as Yoni De-Armouring. It’s perfectly normal to feel somewhat overwhelmed, especially if it was your first session.

Especially if strong emotional or trauma release has occurred during a session, you may need days to rebalance and recover. The effects of the treatment (of course, all depending on what kind of work has been done) may be felt up to a week later. This can take many forms: mood swings, feeling muscle soreness, feeling highs or lows, feeling active or passive, and whatnot.

Most people will have found a new equilibrium within five to seven days, but exceptions can be the case where clients need longer to digest the work and find a new balance.

In addition, with regard to the medium and long-term period after the session, proper aftercare, Shadow Work, and emotional integration may be advised or necessary.

Always inquire with your therapist if you are allowed to contact them to give feedback or to ask questions with regard to what happened during the session and about things that arise in your after-period.
