The Breathing Class is a conscious breathing program that was founded by clinical psychologist Belisa Vranich.
The practice focuses on physical and psychological problems related to oxygenation deficiency by teaching you how to breathe in an anatomically congruous way that maximizes inhales and exhales, lung expansion, and ribcage flexibility.
The breathing practices take personal responsibility and mindfulness as the core, using measurements to demonstrate stress problems and poor physical function around a variety of methods which vary in focus depending on the goals of the class.
This Breathwork modality is said to address fatigue, sleeping problems, anxiety, stress, sports performance, the immune system, pains, brain function, creativity, and energy levels, among other topics.
However, the overall aim of The Breathing Class program is using breath training as a means to increased focus, better physical performance, and improved mental health.
