In a more general sense, one could say that this Taoist technique aims at rejuvenation of body and mind and achieving increased longevity.

The core of the Bone Breathing practice is to absorb Qi Life Energy into the body and bones. The technique uses gentle but full and deep Abdominal Breathing that heavily relies on visualization and imagery of the body’s structure and Qi Life Energy.

In fact, while visualizing the body and Energy Channels i.e. Qi Meridians, one breathes in consciously and with full attention “into” several parts of the body and its accompanying bones i.e. skeleton, until one has finally carried out a Full Body Breathing session.
