When we’ve finally come to recognize that simple clarity — when we ceaselessly and effortlessly remember this untouched, this boundless land, when that is …

… then it seems only hilarious that we’ve been spending a lifetime of struggles “seeking our happiness.”

It then becomes obvious it was sheer foolishness to lose oneself in the threads of conceptual thinking, to hopelessly drown in this thing we so proudly call our thoughts.

Our thoughts — no matter how philosophical, scientific, religious, or logical, our thoughts which are supposed to provide us shelter, certainty, and continuity, but which too often bring us quite the opposite.

But to just point out that the many “roads to heaven” lead to nowhere, or are at best laborious entertainment, to emphasize that there’s no paradise, or hell for that matter, alas … that doesn’t seem to change anything.

In fact, we cannot change the ways we go about, because we cannot help but interpret the things we hear with and within the rational framework of what-we-know-so-far and as a result — accumulate  and add more of the same to it.

Our cultural heritage, our education, our intellectual mold — they are remarkably tough, persuasive and persistent, and it takes “a godsend miracle,” so to speak, to get out of the stranglehold of those. No willpower, study or philosophy, no believe, ideal, or hope can bring about “our liberation and happiness.”

We can’t do a single thing, because every doing and every movement, in whatever direction, only strengthens us in moving away and out of direction of understanding or changing anything at all.

There are never any reliable road-maps to “a better world,” to bounty paradise, spiritual enlightenment, or eternal bliss, since all that has only existence within the sphere of our thoughts and thinking.

Whatever, whenever we fabricate, it’s but our thoughts, in, of, and from thoughts, a confusing set of  questions born out of the tedious stream of answers these questions incessantly raise.

Our so-called “Liberation” will not come about by thoughts, it will come about when thoughts cease to constantly overshadow our essence.

To be what-we-are is a simple, receptive, uncontaminated, and innocent being — without a single hold on presence.

Thoughts, thinking, and feelings don’t magically “disappear,” but they fall in another rhythm and have their own proper realm to act in.

What-we-are is not a state or condition, it’s not like that — we are what we’ve always been: limitless, clear, and undeniable.

We are our unspoiled grounds.
