I think, feel, I’m sure — this is actually one of the best I have seen yet on Reflections of Life. But then again, I say this often, because there are so many extraordinary reflections of life to be watched on the channel.

This video — this story — resonates so much in me, with me, and I think you will notice that if you see this video, well, if you feel like me. THIS is what I feel, just this exactly, all the way. This is what I cherish.

Exactly what I experience. He does and lives what I do and feel, and want to do, want to live. Yes, I always say to others: “Do not get depressed,” because — just see that “We are living in interesting times.” We can learn so much from it for our own benefit.

A guy who reflects on what he’s living. It’s what I do … think, feel, experience. It’s a holistic effort though, really. Taking all of it, engaging with the whole human experience. Thoughts, body, emotion. But most important of all … going for that what is there in you. Trying to find it and live it. Feel it. Be it.

It’s a practical thing. Life is very, very practical. It’s not really an intellectual thing. It’s also reflection — sure — but moreover, it’s finding balance, doing, trying, making errors, improving, and just “living life.” Going for it.

I like when he talks about “small life.” About insects, birds, and you know, I then also think about my passion for mushrooms; this extraordinary “small life” so present everywhere. Such a wonder.

Watch the video … it’s very beautiful. The guy … well, he is beautiful.

He talks also about “listening”. He says: “If we don’t listen we can not connect.” How this is so much happening in the world we live in today. People do not listen any longer. They do not read any longer. No time, no making time.

“Just to listen,” my God, what a difference it would make if people would just listen.

You see, there ARE people who make the “sacrifices” to finding real meaning and real purpose. Very, very few people, unfortunately. Few who really look and long for “the beyond the plastic world” as he says it.

I feel that I am blessed. Blessed with the opportunity to live near my municipal forest park with its abundance of diverse life and variety of mini-ecosystems and moreover … to be in the mountains. As much as I can making time for it. At least two to three times a week. It comes with a price, sure — as everything you do does have its price — but … the mountains, the forest. What beauty it is.
