Castratemaxxing is about either removing or deactivating the testicles. Castration is any action, may it be surgical, chemical, or otherwise, by which a male loses (the use of) the testicles and becomes sterilized preventing the castrated person from reproducing.

The practice of castration also significantly reduces the production of several hormones, such as testosterone and estrogen, which is the actual goal of some involuntary celibates (incels). In fact, by eliminating testosterone production, the person loses their sex drive, and hence the wish to have sex.

In view of the above, the result of castratemaxxing is actually a kind of voluntary celibacy (so-called volceldom), and the end of suffering caused by the lack of a sexual or romantic relationship.

Emasculatemaxxing goes beyond castratemaxxing; that is, emasculation is a surgical procedure in which the testicles, scrotum, and the penis are removed altogether. In this scenario, the sex drive is also lost (which is the goal), and in addition also the penis and testicles, which for some men symbolizes the ultimate elimination of their suffering.

There is some similarity with trannymaxxing (transmaxxing), because some involuntary celibate men who transition to a woman indeed perform emasculation, that is, the testicles, scrotum, and the penis are removed, but in addition they may also opt to create a vagina.

Moreover, transmaxxing is not about becoming voluntary celibate; it’s rather a desperate measure to finally obtain a date or relationship.
