Orthopedic Massage is a massage approach that covers a wide variety of treatment methods and massage techniques, including thorough client-issue assessment and diagnosis, to treat soft-tissue musculoskeletal disorders.

Much focus in Orthopedic Massage is given to the tissues and muscles around or near the joints of the body, aiming at alleviating pain, healing muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and reducing tensions. It’s a massage modality with bares resemblance to so-called Remedial Massage.

Some typical conditions that can benefit from orthopedic massages are knee, elbow, and shoulder pains, tendinitis, whiplash injuries, limited range of motion, back pains and back spasms, frozen shoulder, sciatica, and muscles tears.
