Much focus in Orthopedic Massage is given to the tissues and muscles around or near the joints of the body, aiming at alleviating pain, healing muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and reducing tensions. It’s a massage modality with bares resemblance to so-called Remedial Massage.
Some typical conditions that can benefit from Orthopedic Massage are knee, elbow, and shoulder pain, tendinitis, whiplash injuries, limited range of motion, back pains and back spasms, frozen shoulder, sciatica, and muscles tears.
