Lifemaxxing is a holistic self‑improvement practice that aims to maximize personal well-being, fulfillment, and overall quality of life.
It covers all domains of life, such as physical, emotional, and mental health and well-being, social and personal relationships, career, and personal growth.
Its aim is to achieve internal satisfaction and personal happiness, and building a life that feels meaningful, rather than one designed to impress others.
Although lifemaxxing is, of course, a lifelong project involving continuous self‑improvement, it runs the risk of setting unrealistic expectations, since it requires engaging in nearly all maxxing practices. That is, it seems doubtful that one could succeed in all of them, which may lead to bitter disappointment and fatalism.
With regard to involuntary celibate men (incels), some use lifemaxxing as a strategy to focus on several maxxing areas in a moderate way, aiming to increase their chances of escaping celibacy, rather than, for instance, excessively and aggressively focusing only on looksmaxxing.
In addition, by seeking life domains that truly interest them or bring happiness, involuntary celibates may find alternative sources of personal fulfillment if sexual or romantic success remains elusive.
