What Is Thugmaxxing?

Thugmaxxing is a term used for white men — typically so-called incels — who try to imitate urban Black men in order to impress and attract women and have sex with them.

So-called thugmaxxers will try to adopt a ghetto or gangster style of dressing, aesthetics, mannerisms, speech, sensibilities, and musical taste associated with “Black gangsters,” which classifies the practice as a blend of personalitymaxxing, stylemaxxing, looksmaxxing, and pickup artistry.

Thugmaxxing may also develop in actually participating in “thug activities” with the purpose of resembling a “thug” as much as possible.

Apparently, thugmaxxers often seem to be attracted to Black women and sometimes desire a more dangerous life in ghettos and “the hood,” which could result in joining a gang or becoming a rapper, to give some examples.

It’s perhaps needless to say that choosing this lifestyle brings quite some risks with it, such as imprisonment, fights, and confrontations that might result in (permanent) physical injuries, or even premature death.
