Statusmaxxing — in the sense of “escaping” involuntary celibacy — is about aggressively improving one’s social status and standing through education, reputation, power, and/or financial means to become more attractive to women.
It’s a strategy notably pursued by those who feel they lack the “required looks” that would make them successful in finding a partner.
The practices and activities included in statusmaxxing are based on the underlying belief that (some or even all) women exclusively seek men of a higher social or financial status (called hypergamy) no matter if they look “handsome” or not. Hence, the need for men to “level up” their overall life circumstances to compete in the “sexual marketplace.”
Maxxing practices such as careermaxxing, academiamaxxing, mindmaxxing, methmaxxing, moneymaxxing (wealthmaxxing), and stemmaxxing can be considered supportive to statusmaxxing.
To give some practical examples of becoming statusmaxxed: becoming famous (in whatever way), engaging in a career or leisure activities that are seen as impressive, acquiring a prestigious job or political power, earning a lot of money, living in a upscale neighborhood, or circulating in high society, and so on.
