What is this eBook about?
In this book, we discuss somatic (body-oriented) treatments and practices that are especially appropriate for or geared towards those who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In addition, we aim at giving a deeper understanding of the intimate and indissoluble connection between the physical/sensual and emotional/mental aspects of “being queer,” and how important a consistent body-mind and trauma-informed approach is in tackling LGBTQ+ specific issues.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that this book is only meant for “queer folks.” We think that everyone who’s interested in knowing more about the concerns the LGBTQ+ community is confronted with, or those who are in whatever way allied or work with the community may find the content useful.
