Wat Pah Nanachat | International Forest Monastery

Wat Pah Nanachat is a Buddhist monastery in the Theravada Forest Tradition and was founded by Ajahn Chah. The monastery is located in the Northeast of Thailand. The monastery's aim is providing English-speaking people the opportunity to train and practice the simple and peaceful lifestyle that the Buddha taught his monks in the forest. It's not a monastery that holds meditation retreats, but a limited number of guests can stay at the monastery and practice with the resident community.
