What is this Book about?

In this book, we discuss professional intimacy and companionship services that aim at supporting people within the emotional/mental, sensual/somatic, and erotic/sexual intimacy sphere.

It is no secret that experiencing intimacy and companionship are basic human needs. Without at least one meaningful and nourishing connection in our lives, we’ll quickly feel lonely, isolated, lost, and in the long run most people will become emotionally, mentally, and/or physically ill.

Unfortunately, we live in times in which our inherent want for intimacy and companionship increasingly remains unsatisfied due to a type of society that seems to fail in naturally providing us with this crucial human need. Therefore, it is no wonder that we see a steep rise of a broad variety of intimacy and companionship service offerings on a global scale.
